Printha received her double doctoral degree, through signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University, the European Graduate School of Neuroscience at Maastricht in the Netherlands and the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Her main research interest is to investigate the early diagnostic non- or minimally invasive biomarkers associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and to evaluate the protective effect of antioxidant rich of natural products in neurodegeneration.
